Appomattox County School Board Regular Monthly Business Meeting
The following information items were presented:
I. The School Board recognized the following groups:

III. Board members received a Business & Finance and HR update from Dr. Jason Tibbs including the following items:
FY25 Budget
Region 8 Fuel Bid Consortium
FY 24 - End of Year
24-25 Contracts
Current Open Positions
III. School Board representatives to the LAUREL School Board (Mr. Wells), the XRL8 STEM Academy School Board (Mr. Torrence), and the Appomattox Education Foundation Scholarship Committee (Mr. Stough) provided brief reports of their recent meetings.
IV. The April 2024 Average Daily Membership was 2307. The budgeted ADM for 2024-2024 was 2308.
V. The 2024-2025 VHSL Membership Application was approved for Appomattox County High School.
VI. The 2024-2025 Employee Calendar was revised to include the addition of July 3 and July 5 as paid holidays for all 12-month employees.
