On October 5th, "The Best Band In Appomattox" traveled to Lynchburg's City Stadium to compete in the "Lynchburg Classic". It was a great event and there were many bands who put on a spectacular show.
The Appomattox Marching Raiders competed in Class 3A and brought home:
2nd place Color Guard
2nd place Visual Effects
2nd place General Effect
2nd Place Music
2nd Place overall Class 3A
