Our APS PTO is excited to host a Foam Party to celebrate School Attendance Awareness Month tomorrow, Friday, September 20, 2024. Please send a towel and a change of clothes with your child. School attendance is crucial for the academic success of students. The Virginia Department of Education uses attendance as one factor in determining each school's accreditation. It is important that your child's absences consist of 10 days or less through-out the school year. Why is it important? Your child will benefit from: 1. Academic Achievement 2. Social Development 3. Establishing Good Habits 4. Increased Engagement 5.
