Appomattox Elementary School is committed to providing instruction, direction, and support necessary for students to develop the fundamental skills and process essential for success in school and for a productive life in years beyond.

ACPS Mission Statement:

Our mission is to ensure all students, upon graduation from ACPS, will have learned the skills to become productive and contributing citizens at the local, state, national, and/or global level and that all students learn in a safe, nurturing environment that engages school personnel, students, parents, and community members as collaborative partners.

Student Instructional Hours: 8:15am - 3:10pm

AM Tardy Bell: 8:15am

PM Dismissal Begins: 3:10pm

Students may not arrive earlier than 8:00am.
