Mrs. Allgood

Mrs. Allgood is a two-time graduate of Longwood University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters of Science in School Counseling. This is her fifth year as a school counselor. Mrs. Allgood is passionate about creating a comprehensive counseling program in which students receive quality academic, social, and emotional support. She also seeks to help students as they begin to consider life after high school and what they can do to set and meet their present and future goals. Mrs. Allgood has been an active part of Appomattox for nearly 15 years and is excited to work with students within the community. When Mrs. Allgood is not at school, she spends her time farming, teaching music, and living her best life with her husband and three daughters.

Mrs. Greene

Mrs. Greene graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Years later, Mrs. Greene received a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. For 14 years (and counting), Mrs. Greene worked with youth and their families in public and private sectors including public school systems, counseling agencies, and a juvenile detention facility. Mrs. Greene is not new to Appomattox County and has worked at Appomattox Middle School since 2022 as the Testing & Truancy Specialist. Mrs. Greene is excited to take this new journey as a School Counselor. She is passionate about supporting students through good and unpleasant challenges, reassuring positivity, and desires to see students reach their fullest potential. In her spare time, Mrs. Greene enjoys spending time with her husband and family, shopping, watching horror and nonfictional movies or documentaries, and living life with fun, laughter, and gratitude.
